If you’re not confident that your content ticks all those boxes, I can help you.
I write edit all types of content for bloggers and solopreneurs. I can help you make sure that your content shines as brightly as it possibly can.
My editing clients know that they need to produce high-quality content, so they work with me to ensure that’s what they’re giving their readers. Although I can look for whatever you need me to when I’m editing, what I generally edit for is style, tone, and grammar. That means that I pick out things like weasel words, misplaced commas, and expletive constructions—all of which pop up frequently in writing and can turn off your readers.
I can help you to feel confident in the content you’re using to represent your brand.

Although you and your project will benefit in many ways, some of the most common include:
I'm a solopreneur, just like the majority of my clients. I know what it's like to be in business, and I work in partnership with you to make sure you're happy. I don't outsource any work, and I always communicate with you myself.
I've been trained as a writer and an editor, and it's what I do best. I have a Bachelor of Arts (History & English Literature) and I'm currently studying my Master of Arts (Writing, Editing, and Publishing), so I'm about as qualified as an editor can be.
Another set of eyes
We all know that when you've been looking at a project for hours and hours, you can miss things. Working with someone else means that more errors will be picked up.
You should spend your time doing what you do best. You're busy; team up with me and let me do the content polishing.
Submit an enquiry form and tell me a bit more about what you need. I'll email you within 24 hours with any questions, a proposal, and an intro packet. If you'd feel more comfortable meeting me before we work together, we can arrange a Skype call, or a meeting if you're in Brisbane.
Then, once I'm sure I understand your requirements, I'll get to work. I'll email you a draft that you can give me feedback on (my fee includes two revisions).
I provide a proposal based on what you need and your samples (if applicable), so there are no hidden costs and you never receive an invoice that you weren't expecting. The quote I provide will be based on how many hours I estimate your project will take me to complete. If you request more work that goes outside the scope of the project, I'll let you know the updated fee before I proceed.

You've spent hours upon hours on your course, and you want it to be as good as it can possibly be. I've written a course, so I know how much effort goes into them.
Working together, we can make sure your course is written elegantly, structured logically, and error-free. I can also help you to upload your course material into the platform of your choosing, making sure no errors are introduced in the transfer.
Ebooks and books are wonderful business tools—you can sell them or use them as opt-in gifts and to spread the word about your business and establish your authority. If done well, they can be gold for your business.
You want to make sure your ebook or book is exuding professionalism, and that won't happen if readers find typos and errors, or if the content is difficult to digest. Work with me to ensure your content is as polished as it can be.
The blogosphere these days is crowded, and you want to make sure your content is noticed. Stand out with flawlessly written blog posts.
If you're considering working with me on a regular basis for your blog posts, we can set up a process using Trello (or any other technology you're comfortable with) to make communicating easier.
My prices for editing blog posts are as follows:
If you have a highly technical subject but not many edits are required (or vice versa), the quote will be for medium difficulty.
Anything over 1,500 words requires a personalised estimate.
If you need more than three blog posts edited, you can choose to work on a package basis. The benefits of a package are a 10% discount and only one invoice for the package (as opposed to one per blog post).
Having written a workbook and worked on several text books, I know the amount of work (and energy) they require. Work with me on your workbook or text book and take the job of editing off your plate.
If your workbook or text book contains exercises, I can go through those, too, to make sure your answers or explanations work.
Email sequences are just as much part of your product launch as blog posts or the product itself—often, they are where your customers will come from. Make sure your launch emails attract your ideal clients by working with me to make them shine.
If you send regular emails to your subscribers, they should be edited, too—just like blog posts. If you're considering working with me on a regular basis for your emails, we can set up a process using Trello (or any other technology you're comfortable with) to make communicating easier.
You might also just have an important email you need to send and you want to make sure it's written well. I can help there, too.
Your website is your online headquarters, and it needs to reflect your professionalism and your personality. A website littered with errors, with not enough (or too much) content, and written in a boring style is not going to serve you well online.
Whether you're just getting started and need some help coming up with content, or your website needs a refresh, or you just want to make sure your website content is written as well as it possibly can be, I can help.
